It’s a gift of time and effort, which is more valuable than anything you can buy in a store. We would like to invite you to a weekend of Quilting Classes.

THREAD CATCHER
- So what is a thread catcher? It’s basically a super cute trash can with a weighted pin cushion on top. These hang nicely by your sewing machine and come in very handy when it comes to keeping little pieces of thread and fabric contained. Plus, you can quickly access your pins while sewing too.

Embroidery Class -- All machines welcome
Fringe Friends...embroidery designs with fringe. These designs are great for kids --- think Eye Spy quilt or just a fun children's quilt.

Time: 5-8:30 pm

Machine Quilting including free motion and Rulerwork Work Quilting
Join Diane as she demonstrates how to use the many Ruler Work rulers that she brings for you to try out. This class is a very good confidence builder as you are entering the world of machine quilting.

Binding Class
Do you need to learn how to apply binding? The class will provide a pre quilted table topper and two strips of binding. You will learn to join the pieces together with a 45 degree seam, fold and press into binding. Then you will sew onto the table topper. You will learn how to make the corners and join the two ends together when completed.
There will be hand sewing as you will learn how to stitch the back, including the 45 degree corners.

Beginning
Join us in this two part class, beginning with the basics and progressing from there to a finished quilt top. The pattern is included with the class.

Jelly Roll Rug
Class Description: It's all the craze! Learn the techniques to make a jelly roll rug. Come several days in advance to purchase your jelly roll and supplies at Quilters Haven and we will help you be ready for class!

Paper Piecing Fun
This is a great class for those of you who would like to begin paper piecing. Paper piecing makes all of your quilt blocks very accurate and easy to achieve.
